The 19th round Bundesliga derby is being played this Saturday starting 6:30pm local time in Allianz Arena. Bayern meets their Gelsenkirchen rival in what will be their 114th clash overall. The match referee will be Manuel Grafe.
Bayern remains a force on their own ground although this season they gave up twice to Leverkusen and Hoffenheim with the same score (1-2), some of the results that led to the coach change midway through the season, a fact rarely found in the champions of Germany. On the other hand, Schalke is having a better season than the previous one and is looking forward to Champions League groups again.
Some injuries on both sides, Coman, Sule or Martinez at Bayern, Nubel, Sane or Stambouli at Schalke, which does not affect the composition of the first 11 too much.
Bayern have a threatening attack on their own ground (28 scored vs 9 conceived) and give the Bundesliga top goalscorer at the moment with 20 goals (Lewandowski). Schalke has not won in Munich since 2011 but will seek to put the German panzer in trouble to get closer to the final season objective - the UCL groups.
